The gate for the outfitter tickets doesn't appear to be up yet and I'm not totally sure what I'm looking for at the mage shops but there doesn't seem to be anything different in Brit. Wondering if it will take until tomorrow?

you have to take off what you don't want changed
(it stays the hue that it is, just changes look)

except my glasses were purple

this is the helmet while in my backpack

and this is what it looks like on my char



and this is what you see on my paperdoll
(i removed sash, belt and boots for 1st pic)

Also looks like the inherent LMC is not transferring over either.

I get that too.

It's making the armour medable, so no LMC bonus.

Looks SWEEEEET! Great QoL update. So much they can do with this in the future once they get the bugs out of it.

Community Manager said they are working on the error messages and tethering the NPC.

Looks like they are currently saying the design of Paladin armor is to be medable (ie loss of the inherent LMC is by design).

Lmc loss is lame. This is just to make a bank sitting suit if that doesn't change.

Agreed - if they don't fix how this can affect LMC - than these become nothing but bank sitting suits. Serious players won't convert high end suits that have incorporated LMC bonuses into their planning.

Or if it had a special of the element that went along with it that stayed with it.


I can't get the outfitter to work in CC, it just takes my tickets.

In EC I was able to read the menu. I could not put my armor into the converter, the light was red.

Maybe it needs repaired or un insured? I have 2 pieces that are plate.

I had to buy armor from an NPC and make a suit.

I can see it on CC after I make it in EC.

anyone care to take the old guy by the hand and walk me through this?

char copy to TC
then walk through the gate at brit commons
(that gate gives you the points to use for the outfitter)

the Outfitter is supposed to be at the Mage shop
but last night some people used it while in war mode
which made it wonder away from the shop

I think i just double clicked the NPC and the gump appeared
click the box next to the armor you wish to change it to
(can only do it once per outfit)

make sure you take off anything you don't want changed

helmet will look like this in paperdoll and backpack


(my glasses were purple and shows up on my char)

I then dyed the helmet with void pigment
and I was then able to see the hue on the EC paperdoll
but not before dying it

I thought the summary below was pretty solid because I was also a little confused at first.

Long story short it's more items in game you can pay $$ from the UO store. Looks like the Paladin cloak is also going to fall into the category in that it's just going to be a target for things to transmog to.

My 2 cents: Not a bad business idea to generate more revenue from the game but feels a little "meh" that these things look so cool in the paperdoll but then just look the same old version of a plate suit with a closed helm AND the cloaks look like regular cloaks. I'm not typically one to frequent the UO store but if the armor outside of the paperdoll looked as cool as it does inside; I'd be tempted to convert my suit.

I get my store items from vendor search
so it would be ideal if it came in the form of a token
that anyone can buy and sell in game

but i'm afraid that it will be more like the vault token
and be account or character bound.
that would be a disappointment

Refined armor cant be converted and I don't think a transmogged helm can be either.

So my macer cant use it.

Can't copy my other guy with a suit because he has a Herald out.

A patch was issued and CC can see the menu now.

I could convert all but the helm.
Suit stayed medable.

I was able to repair the corrupted paladin vambraces
but they can't be dyed after the conversion
hopefully they get that fixed

I was dying the suit, for those who like blue

That's wild so many variables now I think I will spend most of my time at the new spawn until this portion gets bug fixed a bit

I kinda agree, not something ill be getting, was really disappointed to find out if only effects the paperdoll, sorry i dont walk around with everyones paperdoll open, hell i dont even keep mine open, so its kinda pointless.
