I have been trying for half an hour to connect to the uo. Sometimes I can enter the server but then it gets blocked and says there are problems with UO. What does it mean? Why is everything down? Until this morning everything worked and now you don't enter anymore. Are there any problems? Do you sorry to let something know? Nothing has been written anywhere :(

It will be that becoming old I have become even more irritable. And what I can't stand is the lack of respect. Lack of respect for the players, you don't tell us anything. That message that you have soaked after hours of silence means nothing. Just BE PATIENT
what silence, they literally posted that it was down, how is that silence?

They posted that it was down after there was the first post. But the server had been down for hours, nobody complained and they didn't write anything. Only after down hours did they do it. Doesn't this seem silence to this?

No luck here.

"Appreciate the patience"
I imagine the patience of a lot of people is wearing pretty thin with the constant server issues this month...
That was out of their control that we got attacked by the McDonald's hamburger flipper kid. That was DDOS. Theoretically this could be part of the same process, and the kid may have gotten some "upper help" to figure how to bypass security and exploit vulnerabilities of the login server that could be partially shielded. This maybe the case since no explanation for this downtime. It is at the least embarrassing, we can understand that.

I get theres not much you can do about DDoS, isn't my first time with them thats for sure. My primary issue with all these outages is the outright lack of communication so we can have some understanding, as a community, whats actually going on. "We're aware and fixing it" is hardly what I call communication when it tells us nothing. Patience only goes so far when you're continually told nothing by any offical sources about a persistent issue.

If I was told exactly what the issue was by the people who should be responsible for informing me as a customer, chances are I would be very understanding and far more patient. I am paying for a service and it is not outside of the realm of expectation to be informed of the reason for disruptions to said service. Leaving everyone in the dark when it is so persistent does not help customer confidence, and it turns away potential new ones.

the servers had been down for under a hour before they posted.
not hours.
while i like to stretch stories from time to time lets at least give them a little credit today, they reported it within a hour of it beginning.
small steps, deep breaths.

Well, think about it this way, if you were them. What are our choices? Call the Feds for federal cybercrime? Good luck, they would put us in bottom priority, "its just a game". Then they would "put in a work order", and "ok, we will look into that (lol)".
Hire a cybersleuth find where the packets are coming from, and identify the juvenile delinquent? The cybersleuth id's the ip's that are sending us these "gifts" and also the kid's identity address etc. Now what? What are the consequences to uo? Pay mint for the hired expert, then what? hire a legal department to go after the kid/hacker? Another super major cost. Would t he kid face the consequences of the federal cybercrime he/she is committing?
I suspect they are trying to mitigate this themselves, with perhaps some outside help and software/hardware that will not break the bank.
It is embarrassing to say the least, to admit that one immature hacker can bring their business to a screeching halt. We can all assume they are themselves fuming mad about this, and trying to fix this. They are also victims of this as all of us.

This doesn't excuse them from communicating...
