Afternoon good folks of the Rares community. I have been looking over some items that are displayed in my homes and wondered about some of the history behind them and maybe a current market value.

I am not planning on selling these as the hold a great deal of sentimental value, more of 'insurance purposes' or maybe a offer that is too good to turn away.

Anyway, I thought I would share and happy to take any questions.

Open books, both labled 'book'

The top book is around 50 - 100M, they were duped heavily and so the pricing isn't that great on them.

The bottom book however was not, and they range from 1 - 2 plat if unnamed.

ha, ive also only just noticed the spelling error on the Blackthorn Sword.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Tears From A Broken Heart?

Older pacific drop, high count (100+) in the bottle form. They pop up on safes now and then for 200m+ There was a bugged version of this drop that displays as a tile and is worth plats.

Thanks @Prawn. I was given it many years ago, so never really did any digging.

From doing further research, I can see the Checkers and Spitton were Server Births and no idea on how many live in UO, I take it perhaps were also victims of being Duped back in the day.

You probably know, the sword is from a set and is a rarer piece so probably worth a good few plat by itself. I’ve always wanted to own the full set but have only ever seen two completed.

Yes that’s about how much I thought it was worth, if you hadn’t said you were keeping it I was going to throw this into the mix as a trade.
