Selling Old Faction Guard Horse

Nothing special, its just a horse, but its rare Ive seen prices mooted from 750m - 1p, so happy to entertain offers.

I don't think you can trade those. Atleast that is what I've heard. I've got a few and im afraid to try and them become a regular horse or some other crazy UO bug.

Yes, thats what I thought you were talking about? I'm not aware of two different types of faction war horses. I believe there are old one slot black horses but I don't think they are faction related. Either 16th anniversary or some other old spawn. I'm getting way out of my lane here though. Someone knows better than I do.

There's the faction war horses that were bought off vendors with silver (the green, red, purple, light blue variants) and than the black hued horses unique to the TB faction hired guards that when dismounted were able to tamed. TB guard horses can be transferred, the faction vendor war horses bought with silver cannot be and are stuck with the owners unless any future changes are implemented (unlikely).

You are correct though, there is a 16th anniv with the same hue as the black guard hose and it is a common scam to trade the common 16th anniv in place of the older.

I was looking through my old account and found that I have a plain horse, 1 stable slot, but is jet black like a Nightmare. I don't remember where I got it or if they even still spawn. Any information on this?

you can tell just by looking at them. in CC at least. the darkest anny horse has hints of blue in it. second darkest anny horse is lighter than the lighter version of the faction horse. faction horse comes in jet black, and a "lighter" black. and in long mane and short mane.
