Population Question

Just curious, I see that alot of MMO's are "seasonal" (not seasons, RL seasonal) I was wondering when is UO the busiest? Summer? Winter? Spring? Fall? Just curious. I don't play any other MMOs, nor have I ever so I'm not in tune with fluctuations due to season/holidays.

winter is always the busiest.
i know i certainly ramp up my play time in the winter.
but then im Canadian so the bitter cold and snow play a big part of that.

I'm the same way. I just came back beginning of December. Was hoping the answer to this question would be anything but now. Kind of depressing even on ATL. Not trolling, just kind of sad to see. Such a great game, hope I can get a few more years of enjoyment atleast. (crosses fingers)

It starts getting the busiest around September through the beginning of January.
but it usually picks up again about Spring to Summer.

right now there are lot of stuff going on, so people are kept busy.
they don't have much reason to bank sit right now

That makes sense, not sure why I didn't think about the fact that there's some really cool stuff going on right now with events.
