Bless Spell Glitchy Lately?

I have never had the bless spell glitch out before, but today, it would sometimes fizzle when casting it on my new nightmare. Not sure if it is because something changed, or if it has something to do with the new pets, but, it doesn't matter if i'm in battle, or at home, it will sometimes work and sometimes fizzle. My magery is at 100 natural and 20 more on jewels. Any thoughts? I haven't tried casting it on my other pets yet, but so far on my nightmare it will sometimes work and sometimes not. It's not because I'm under attack. I checked that. It fizzled even when I was safely at my house.
Any ideas on this would be helpful.

Nightmare's will cast bless on themselves. So I think if it is under its own bless yours will fizzle.

Do you have eval?
A mage without eval will fizzle bless.

Most mage pets are perma glitch and bless themselfs all the time.
