10/23/2024 Greetings, Beginning with Origin on October 24, 2024 we will be releasing Publish 118.1 to Origin, Izumo & Baja during each shard’s normally scheduled maintenance. Character transfers from these shards to other shards will be disabled until Publish 118.1 is deployed world wide. We expect Publish 118.1 to deploy world wide early next week. Bulwark isnt powerfull, actually its a crap even with changes. For pvp its missing reactive paralyse, dci/hci, stats. For pvm its missing most usefull stat sdi. In current variant it could be usefull for some tamers who doesnt have any usefull legendary from roof.

Where did you get that? Typically trick or treating / Khuldan / butchers / etc all turn off on Nov 1 server up.

15 out of 16 of the rare hue mares I have tamed so far have been 3 slot.

I farmed for a little over an hour. Killed 100 mare, never saw a new hue. All variety of old ones but no new ones.

Yeah on test took me 4 hours for first new rare hue without totem but then after I saw 2-3 in a row of them. Totem does help a lot though as I've been using them for the last 6 hours with it.

I'm guessing almost every mare spawn will be heavily camped for the next several weeks; if this event (ie mare colors) only goes on for 4-5 weeks there will be people camped there for the entire duration. People will be fighting for the 2 slot colors; going to be like trying to tame a blaze cu lol.

Yeah, I've been here almost 8 hours and but only seen 4-5 people show up but of course a lot of people at work and stuff so assuming it's going to get worse when the weekend really hits. I've been using totems that whole time so no one has really messed with me although I did think someone might because a guy showed up and put down EV's but thankfully he stopped once I asked him to. I'm really hoping they keep it ALOT longer then 4-5 weeks knowing how many people will want them and stuff. Once I get one of each hue I will probably chill out on trying to get them unless I get bored.

not sure if anyone has noticed but the cemetery bone drops are only the new skulls no more body skels, also, they come in coloured ones as well.

out of the 12 ive gotten so far 2 have been coloured.

the green is 2967 and the bronze is 1720

So after 11 hours of kill/taming and totems during all that I came out of it with 4 2 slot 7264 and 1 2 slot 7268.... all the rest were 3 slots so it was really kind of terrible luck

The "graveyard" of poor abandoned 3 slots from today that I thought someone might still want lol

What is the benefit of 2 slot over 3 slot? I don't play too often since Pet Training was introduced so I never quite grasped it entirely. I could understand that a 2 slot might be able to be built with more complexity if you went to 5 slot, or if you wanted to pair it with a Rune Beetle or something else?

Also, is this the best thread for the nightmare data? It didn't look like there was anything going in the Tamer forum, for example.

Oh I just saw they are not out until 10/29 I guess lol haha (on other shards).

I think they are the same % as the White and Black Cu Sidhe which I think is 20% but then you have remember it's RNG so you could also see 2-4 in a row as well. I think the purple is gonna be like a Blaze for this one though because I went through 10 hours of fortune totems and never saw one of those but saw 2 demonic hue and 3 green hue ones. 2764 the meh grayish hue I saw a TON of those ones though comparatively so I think those are the more common out of the new "rares". They are definitely going to have a lot of people buying totems from the store!

I don't think quite as low chance as Blaze but it's gonna be some massive RNG/grind to get one it seems. If they did that low they'd be insane.

From our testing, the picture the devs showed (NOT the one the CM showed) show the nightmares by rarity.

Well I guess if I talk about it enough it will spawn lol, spawned just as the last seconds ticked on my 2nd totem today although it's a short haired and I REALLY want a long hair or pure. So it took 16 hours give or take all with totem hours to get one.

Yeah it's REALLY pretty, I wouldn't normally spend this much time on something but I've been a tamer since the game first started so it's like what I enjoy doing and trying to get the ultra rare hues is my favorite thing.

i went out yesterday and decided to try my luck on the old RNG nightmare thing.
worked the nightmare spawn for 30 minutes and got one of the red ones.
didnt seem to bad.
was a 3 slot so meh.

Yeah that's why I think they are kind of like the white and black Cu's,I worked it without a totem for like 2 hours and got a couple void colors and a 2764 in a row but then the other time on test that it took me 4 hours to get a "rare" type hue.

I'm still keeping the 3 slot 2768, 2753, and the 1171 purple on because those ones in all that time of taming seem pretty rare at least until I feel my stables can't take it or I get 2 slots of them. I want one of each style and hue by the end of this, the purple I will probably keep for good though 2 or 3 slot because I have only seen one in all this time of taming all day pretty much so I think even those ones will be wanted after.

i went out again last night for another hour and pulled 2 more - they where the 'old rare' coloured ones so that didn't help but at least they where the rare colour.
so it is looking like about 30 minutes per spawn?
i don't know what the math is on that but i was in fel and they pretty much insta spawn there and i was killing them in seconds, so lets say 10 seconds per kill, so 6 per minute x 30 minutes = 180 Nightmares per rare one?
that is of course messed up by the good old RNG but its a ruff number to work from.
ill try to get out again in the next couple of days and put in another hour of farming to see if i can pull another 2.

After you left I got my long mane!! It was a 3 slot but at this point I don't care since I just ride the nightmares for glamour, now I just need a solid purple and I'll have them all

One more question (I think, lol)...so when they say Nightmares in The Southern Lost Lands (Fel & Tram) - where that be? lol

they basically turned on the old spawning locations that originally spawned Nightmares.
if memory serves me correctly in the lost land that would be down by the one entrance/exit to Khaldun.
