How to start with New Legacy

I created a new character, but he's in New Haven as usual. How will I be able to enter the New Legacy game mechanics.

It doesn't make any sense for a launch like this. No wonder UO is going downhill. It's like you created a game but no player knows even how to get in to play.

I decided to make a character for NL since we still don't have anything new on the Prod shards yet; it's really not that hard to get started IMO.

First question for you would be if you are actually selecting the "New legacy" shard (rather than a Prod shard like Atlantic/Europa/etc). You can't opt into NL game mechanics on a Prod shard.

If you log into the New Legacy shard then you just head like 1 screen east to the Bard and he directs you down the quest "path" (ie tells you where to go) which is just one screen south. The initial quest setup really is pretty self explanatory and you get a message while running around Ocllo (not Haven) of where to go in the bottom left corner.

I actually think the team did a good job on the "start" piece of New Legacy. The problem I am having currently after GM'ing my initial path skills is what is there to do next? Seems like there is super limited stuff to do and my character is only like 2 days old. I feel like I am now just doing the same thing over and over and over and over (again after only 2 days) which is going to the Orc champ then Icemancer guy then crimson dragon etc. All of these things are ok for now but feels underwhelming when the you don't get a drop or the only drop you get is a piece of armor with only resist as a property.

I'm wondering if the team is going to add quests and things to do as the season goes along because right now I don't feel like there are many other options of "things to do" other than the same half a dozen things.

It's the worst launch I've ever seen. At least, they should prepare a kind of player guide, especially when everything seems to be devivated from the past. Everything's broken. Say, I can't even beat the giant rats by following the storyline. WTF.

I really would like to stay with the game, but sorry have to quit due the lack of info on how to play it!
