I tested it all night my wifi never drops out for a few seconds. I logged into the game and 30 seconds later I freeze up ,wifi incon goes to globe and I disconnect. My system is perfect and wifi is strong. Asked all my son's who were playing wow did your wifi drop and they said no.

If your on wifi, only so many devices can be connected per channel at a time. If possible try a wired connection, or see if you can force some devices to a different frequency allowing you to be on a different one.

Again, the game doesnt interact with your wifi - or network adapter of any type. Thats all handled by the tcpip network stack, you could be using smoke signals and the game wouldnt care.

What could be happening is you may be using a piece of software thats flooding your wifi connection, causing collisions/errors and tripping the router to reconnect your device to automatically resolve the problem.

Your connection can/will be dropped if the channel you are using is full and it drops a device. It doesnt take much(some can only support 10 devices at a time), which is why i suggested a wired connection. All it takes to reconnect is another attempt, but something else makes a request and your back to square one.

Here is a link that talks about it some.

I have more than 29 connected, have to have a router for the 2.4 devices. Most lights are wifi with alexa. Cameras etc.

My max speed from spectrum is shut down to 100 to 200 speed because of all the stuff.
