Transfer Pets between two tamers on the same account

I have seen the posts about using the Magician Pet stalls.
However are there any cons to releasing the pet in your home and logging out.
Then login with the 2nd tamer to re-tame?

The down side of this would be stats can change, or at least they used to in the past. I would just get a friend to xfer it between the 2 chars if it were me.

The only bad thing is someone could buy it. But you are right there.

If you release have food ready. They are angry.
Also I'm afraid of the tamed too many times.

So lets say that every char has access to all pets on one account for one shard. I can already hear the pancakes when you only have x number of stable slots or my Blacksmith Mule took out the fully scrolled out pet and it went wild and was guard wacked. NO Thank You. Strange how people know the rules of the game but still whine how unfair they are. You want to move a pet then find a trust worthy Tamer to help you or use the Pet Vendor method or use an EJ/New account and train a Tamer on it to Xfer pets.

Probably because they figured there would be no way in heck folks would create 2 tamers on the same account with how big of a pita taming was to raise...

They likely supposed anyone that addicted to UO would just do multiple accounts instead.

The only way I could see it working is to have a stable slot attached to bank the way gold is now. No change to the current system, just an additional slot that belongs to the bank. And would still need to meet requirements to take any pet out.

I just created a second tamer same account same shard. Just looking for a way to transfer without getting a 2nd party involved or having to buy game time for a second account. You can do this with gold and skills why not pets?
One at a time is fine too, like AntyvasII mentioned.

You are correct Pawain, thats exactly the reason, to have the extra stable slots, not so all chars can access.
You could rez your other chars pets and get low control pets for your crafter and other support chars.
If you transfer a toon whatever is in the stables of that toon. Everyone elses stabled pets stay.
I have been playing for a while and have a lot of pets that i dont want to give up. And i like to color colors CUs Hiryus...

How about if they made the system through the stable menu not at the bank?
And you would need to have a required minimum taming to transfer a higher level pet?

Those are the free-to-play accounts that can be made. Regular accounts also go EJ after 4 months of not being paid (and any houses fall).

That sounds like the answer then. Not the easiest but a good work around.
I would only be using it for transfers and not putting time or reasourses into those accounts.
They probably have other uses too...

You will have to train the tamer depending on the pet you want to transfer

Lots of trustworthy tamers are on Atlantic and hang out at Luna Stables.

So hang out, see which ones are there often and you will see some forum names.

But, you will have Merlin helping you this time.
