[Price Check] Metal Chest w/o Paragon or Shipwreck Tag

I have some chests that I believe previously had some value. See image below.



What is the going price for these chests? I have mostly gold trimmed ones as that is what I used in my house.

Those are from feeding Bog Things to those big ugly things in the swamp. Using Provocation.

After they eat a bunch, you kill them and can get a chest.

So, you can get them still.

Yep. Other ways to "feed the beast" as well. I have gotten quite a few since I have been back but have changed up the decor in my house and am not using the gold trimmed chests. Before I tossed on a vendor I was wondering if they had any value beyond that of a metal chest due to time to get and naming. I know I am particular about names on items I use for decor, hence me farming up some chests from plague beasts.

I did check VS on Atlantic and did not see any metal chests for sale that did not include the paragon or shipwreck tags.

IMO they should be priced like a miasma chest. Also it makes a difference in CC. The ones that have a large gump are preferred. There may be players that want containers with a simple name.

Put a few on your vendor and see if they sell.

Yes. That is mostly why I am changing. It is a shame the devs cannot do "large container gumps" for all containers

I am one of them. I remade over 80 "metal chest" into "wooden chest" without exceptional tag. It is the reason I was asking if there was a market for them. I remember before I stopped playing back in 2016 time frame I sold the dull metal ones for 250-500k each. I may toss on for 1m each and see what happens though.

Yup you can always increase or drop the price on the next batch.
