[Manticore]

Ok, so I use to make these random posts just for the entertainment value. One of my favorite activities aside from attending EM events is to visit rare museums. From my own experience, the trend/culture has changed some what. It use to be museums everywhere but nowadays, it's a mixture of public and private collections. To kick off the holiday spirit, here are the top collections that I know of using my selection criteria not in any particular order:

1. Minimum requirement collection worth >100 plat (changed this to make it a rounded number)
2. Quantity and Quality
3. Quality based on rarity i.e. Unique, 1 of 2 etc..
4. Quality based on desirability i.e. Light of The Fallen Virtue etc..
5. Server Births
6. High-End Rubble Pieces >100 Mil Per Piece

Fun list indeed! I have seen some of these first hand. Stumbled into Rosewoods castle by mistake once doing a quest in that area and was blown away. BeerPwningTexan's Luna museum has the best use of color blending I've ever seen in UO (credit to Dixie) and is filled with very cool treasures. I've walked through both Archnight's and Pampa's Atlantic Luna houses many times as well, some of my favorites. Look forward to checking out all of these UO wonders and maybe one day in the future I hope to be on a list like this myself.

Those are fantastic selections! I thoroughly enjoy viewing others' collections and seeing what appeals to others' tastes. I favor themed collections or collections that are framed within decorations/scenic.

Spring of Atlantic is the owner of the lovely pink/blue 1 of 1 Cat Nip. Its on display at her castle which is a lot of fun to explore.

I apologize for not having that ready. There use to be a blue rune available on her Umbra house's porch that would take you to the bakery and the Cat Nip is on the third floor iirc. I just checked and its not there currently but I have no doubt she'll put it back up if you catch her in general chat if nobody else here knows off the top of their heads.

Also Bacchus on Pacific would fit in this category for top 5 easily but sadly his house is open but no access and rares just thrown about in no specific order. But if he ever decided to set up shop, would be one of the best of old school rares for sure

I can confirm, his castle is open to public but doors are locked, you can walk around with transparency on and see allot of server birth and seer items. I would compare his collection to what Orc had I guess.

The Mutated cat used to be on Izumo but that house fell or was taken down. I haven't seen it since
Peil had the kitty chamber of claws and the cat bed, but her house was taken down I heard so I don't know what happened to those two
