Although not on the Manticore list and I don't remember how I got this.　listed this when Brian visited my house,
I don't even know why he listed it as a unique item

There were alot of EM books that were on corpses, or given out at EM events that are rare because of the color of the book. For the wiki, brian recorded the items using an automated script, it wasnt done by hand so many items were recorded and slipped through that arent actually uniques. alot of the serverbirths arent accurate as well because of the same reason. This one is rare, because you cant dye that color (can only use natural dyes on books), but its also possible (albeit un-likely) that if someone got another EM book of that hue, and it was editable the text could be changed to recreate it. its also possible that more could exist, but this was the only one scanned so appeared in the wiki quantity as 1.

for example, my "tome of necromantic Ensorcelment" was recorded as a unique because i changed the name of the runebook text underneath the main title (can be done with any of them, not just mine)

The book itself can be copied, but Natural dyes of the same color do not exist, so it seems that they cannot be reproduced.

I had one I traded, so that's 3 if Blend still has his. The problem is with these readable book drops, most people don't realize it's a rare item and chuck them, or they get lost in a bank box somewhere. So true numbers are extremely hard to get. For example I have around 15-16 of these types of drops, and a handful aren't listed on the Stratics wiki, so they are essentially unknown.

donated I had one to Rune Library on Dagger Island Asuka shard.

He may not have considered it an important item because it had not yet been displayed in his house.
I hope he didn't trash it

It depends on how much people who want to get it are willing to pay, but the item is about 10 years old and has never been on the market.
Although it can be renamed, it has a rather cool name and a hue that cannot be reproduced.

I have no idea what the value of such items is.

Some of the books with hues that are close to natural dye hues go for less, but ones with standout hues like that one are more valuable. That electric blue color is a really good look and it should fetch a decent price. I would give an idea of a price, but I also overpay for books, so I'd be a bad benchmark. I only collect Atlantic ones, but a collector who's involved in the lore of Sonoma would probably make a very good offer should such a person exist.
