Character Named Bone Containers

Hello, is it that your character has to die during October anywhere in UO to get a chance of spawning a bone container with that character's name on it, or does the death have to occur in a cemetary?
Could a person just keep killing their character over and over no matter where in UO he/she is or would that not work?

In past years, dying anywhere could get your bones placed in the cemetery. I remember this because my bones were frequently found while I was doing one of the dungeon events.

Yes dying over and over will cause more of your named skeletons to spawn. Then you will need to travel around to all the cemeteries to find and kill them for a chance at a named container. Also kill the Bone Knights with no char name. They have a chance to drop a named container.

yes, they will spawn all month long.
but a fresh kill will spawn a new one , from my experience

In the past, I've gone to Ilsh (I think the Justice shrine) with a naked char (nada in the backpack either to save on insurance) and just keep drobing (anyone remember this term from early UO?) aka rez killing yourself with the spawn located right near the shrine. You should start to notice skeles with your name on them.
