A word to certain player vendors

Go ahead—be daring and display your goods so that the customers can see them. Don’t stack millions worth of different scrolls in a single stack so that we can’t see them. Ditto for plants and other items. Please don’t waste our time and money by doing this. Trust me. I worked in sales & marketing this technique doesn’t pa.

It's a thing with cc/ec

No its a thing with EC users being rude.
That's a bit of an assumption. It could be that the person forgets that the classic client doesn't have grid packs. I think I've forgotten a time or two.

Ya I hate that also. Most vendor houses do it where you can see in CC. But some scroll sellers do stack em all.

A container of a hundred rings is a pain when you want a certain one in CC. I change to EC and use the search function.

Not implementing a function in CC to search a Vendor for an item to buy, that is the real pain in the arss ;)

Just an FYI that if we are talking about items on vendor in a crate (or something similar) then it could be easily fixed by selecting the "Enable large gumps" option in UO. This happened to me just the other day (I play CC) when I thought I might need to use EC but I had that last second thought which actually worked perfect.

If you don't like the way the vendor is set up because they use EC to stock the vendor then don't buy from that vendor. Or maybe just use the EC for shopping? But then you might like it more then the CC

For anyone who uses EC and is going to stock a vendor, you will do yourself and your customers a favor by toggling legacy containers when stocking your vendors.

Or you can use the Master Client. EC.

But yea... I tried to. It's not pixel perfect between the two, but it does work. There's even a button in EC you can move to your task bar, but you gotta close and reopen the pack between using it. "Toggle Legacy Containers" is the name of the macro button.

full screen
There's an option in the CC to set real full screen mode, which is what I use. It is somewhat buggy, so it will take two tries to get it working.
Options, eyeball tab. Set the "Full screen size" and "Game Play Window" to be the same size. You will have to do this twice.
I generally use 640x480.
When hunting plunderbeacons I set to a larger size.

If you have a large monitor, this works great, And you dont need full screen because they are the same size and less hassle.

I was taken a picture all the screen using shift+Windows key+s and in that area I blacked out I noticed it was in the picture after and coloured do not think you wanted to see client list folder and CCTV folder.
Work programs for security.....You work from home and you don't know how to crop a screenshot, or use a computer program correctly ?
over it.

You worked in sales and now you are lecturing strangers on a 20 yo video game. Please tell us more

As for the topic, I always toggled legacy containers before stocking my vendors. Not because stuff would not sell, on Atlantic there are plenty of people with the EC, just because I felt bad for the CC players left hanging by the Devs ever since the EC exists.

They have not worked out a list view for CC in a decade. And if you point it out, the usual suspects will come out of their holes and make excuses telling you it's all the players fault or start a client war. I guess it's the grand American way. Pick your side - red or blue, EC or CC, pro or contra - and blame the opposition.

My area of sales & marketing expertise is in the rpg industry. In any case in both mundane and virtual worlds piling different items into a single stack that makes it impossible to see what’s underneath the top item is a poor sales technique.

It is, but in my experience it will just take a bit longer to find a buyer. Eventually someone with the EC will come by or someone who wants it bad enough to switch clients or ask a friend. But yea, if you want to move your pixels asap, better toggle legacy containers before stocking your vendor.
