What client? that would be the first question people would need to know.

in the off chance you are using EC, this one works but i am sure there are better. that is "target nearest enemy" a skinning knife set to "current Target" save it, bind a key, walk around yew pens and fill up your pack. you could probably throw attack current in there to kill the sheep, or maybe cast a specific spell set to current target. lots of options.

Yew pens are great. I do kill the sheep after shearing. I have found they start respawning as soon as the last one is dead. Good, fast source of wool.

unfortunately i have not used that client in many years. There will be people who are better at that client than myself that will need to assist you.

i Know there is a "last object" option that will let you use a knife/axe/sword to shear a sheep. but you'll have to figure out the targeting maybe "last object" and then whatever targeting option there is. As i said haven't made a macro in CC for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time

I just open up all the sheeps' life boxes, then hit the use last object macro (after using shears for the first tme) and run amok in the pen shearing all the day long.
been doing that since was born on napa. was originally a tailor so... yeah.

You can do this in classic client by setting a macro to a hot key. I’m not at the computer and a little rusty but I’ll try to help. Use the dagger/however you are skinning so it is your last object then press the key.

Target next

You should be able to cycle through every target on screen hope it works for you. There may be better ways to do this but I don’t have access to the macros screen right now

You don't have to kill them at all... if you tame them a new one will spawn... so shear them ... tame them... rename, release... and well then there is a MASSIVE bunch of sheep... if you check back might still be there... to reshear again later...

And how much taming do I stuff into a crammed skill list? Easier to kill ... both these methods have the same end, but one is more direct.

do it with your tamer? or does none of your characters have it? then soulstone a skill during shearing day... so many options!

Myself, I just aggro them all onto me, then 1 chain lightning, and Harvestersblade with "use last object.. all sheep done in less than a minute.

My thoughts exactly. I'll pay 31k (which most people under 30 minutes and some it might take all of 3minutes) to save myself 5+ hours of hanging around waiting to shear 250+ sheep.

I"m so bored lately, I'll transfer over to whatever shard the OP is on and either hand them the money, or the wool just to know before I go to sleep that night, that they aren't toiling away gathering wool into the wee hours of the.....oh wait...nvm..no I won't.
