Dye tub dyes...

I remember for the longest time these always had a number of let's just call them charges left. Then one day I remember looking at them to see what did or didn't need to be replaced and the charge count was gone. But it seems that I am still losing dyes that are locked down & public to use with my public tub set.

So do these still have limited charge uses and somebody in their Infinite Wisdom screwed up a keystroke somewhere making those numbers go away?

I use available lockdowns for checking commission vendors short of clicking on 23 of them. That's the only reason I even knew that dye was missing since no one had any gold available.

Well, it was random at some point I believe. At least w displayed values.

But the not so much an issue is the remaining count left, that did use to be there, like with runics but now missing & has been for a WHILE now.

I had assumed when the uses left count vanished, that dyes were effectively unlimited. Which is why I went from keeping 50 locked down to just the one which has now become 6.

I do not recall the Dyes having a count. But just my guesstimation. They seem random. And quite a few uses.
Our public Dye house in Luna goes thru a few a month.

Well I'm not going to say there's no chance I'm wrong but I'd swear at some point I saw freaking item count or I should say use count LOL

But even if not, it would be nice if they actually did something like that reminiscent of runic Hammers. If not just making dyes permanent if you will.

At the very least I might just opt for another ship's strongbox for where the dyes currently are and just max that out with dye and just leave it public. I mean you got to be a petty son of a b**** if you want to empty it.

As it stands I lock every one down and make for public use using a decorating tool so they're all on the same level.

Edit; Just found one for 7.5k lol... sure that was a goof but oh well.

but ya there has never been a counter on them, I know this because it has always bothered me that there is no counter on them.

I've never seen one on the dyes. Perhaps once upon a time on Siege?

Put a normal vendor next to your tubs. Sell dyes for free. Takes no lockdown count.
