Not sure how the game is now, but my own quick way of looting in the past, was have others with faster systems and connections do it. We split evenly at the end anyways. I left when all drops were basically turned garbage, and only things good were magical runic player made. Rule of thumb, the moment you do make or find a valuable item, insure it Immediately!! Before they put a quick stop to it, I was lucky enough to insure my second gm tamers 120 taming power scroll years back by insuring it. Had just clicked it when I was pkd by so many reds, had no clue they had hidden and camped the place. I used to use my pet dragons to store loot. Before the followers update, I'd go with 10 to 20, set to guard. Only took two, at full health to fireball an attacker and kill them. I have a picture of the last server war, where I released 100 white wyrms at Britain cemetery. I got a warning too as it crashed pacific lol.
There is something on EC, but not the CC, iirc.
best way to loot is just head down to painted caves or sanctuary (succubus) and find the scripters. Trade them your silence and compliance for their auto loot + insure script. also check yomatsu elders, dark guardian room in doom, shadowguard roof, doom, tsuki wolves, fan dancers. Same procedure.
What shard are you on where knowing someones scripting means diddly ?
I remember reading somewhere that EC (maybe Pincos?) has something where basically you can auto-loot pre-designated things (not sure if it's based on item or properties). CC doesn't currently have anything that I know of.
What are you looking to use such a thing for?
If it's because you are on a slow connection or seem to go through all loot before the loot turns public (ie doing a public scalis event) then I'd suggest targeting (with your eyes) priority things like jewelry. At least that's how I do it; I know that something like a cutlass is junk regardless so 90% of the time I don't even bother checking the stats and just simply move it out of the way into the corpse gump corner.
If it's because you are doing like a champ spawn and want to check the corpses of everything you kill without slowing down the killing then either EC or some third party script. That said, I don't even know how that would work because for me personally my "loot list" would have like 20 different things to look for and I'd probably end up with a full backpack within the first 5min of kill stuff lol

You can use EC and use a macro to loot specific items. It's not faster, per se, because it moves the items out of your backpack at the same speed as if you were dragging them but you can hit your loot macro hotkey and let it do it's thing on multiple bodies while you peruse the loot inside the corpses.

The game itself limits the speed. You can only loot so fast. IIRC someone was working on something that would at least highlight the high value loot. Not sure how far they got. In EC, not classic like your screenshot in other topics.

EC have vacuum function. Good to loot gold or some essences
CC can auto open corpses
EC with Pinco have ability to highlight desired qualities or auto loot according to weight (to avoid 50 stone gear or loot 1 stone items )
The word you're looking for is "practice" then. You want it to be legal and you want it to be fast, the only one to get that is with practice.

The problem I have is that the stuff in the backpacks is so small that i am having trouble seeing it and grabbing it.
EC also helps with that as it's grid based.
