This translates to any hit area spell that might cause flagging is undesirable maybe one of the pvp kids could make a sticky with the wants and not of weapons etc

hit area is pretty desirable. anyone who says it isn't is just living a pipe dream world of perfect pvp content. punching AIs into your target and getting free screen wide interrupts on their team's casters is a win. nobody plays reds anymore anywhere pvp matters, and those who do probably aren't stupid enough to sit next a guardzone with an aoe weapon.
