Working on trying to get one of these, I know they're supposed to hold 500 maps. But much like bags, chests and the commission vendors.

Does Davies Locker affect house lockdowns ?

Or is it like BOD books, which I think is one lockdown even if it has like 200 BODs in it ?

They do not affect lockdowns, so you can fill it to your hearts content (up to 500 maps or sos).

It is a single lockdown for the locker regardless of how many maps. This is a thunting necessity since the locker will tell you the exact coords of the map once decoded so you can easily dig it up.

Decode. Put in locker. Write down coords. Extract map. Complete map.
Not sure why a decoded map can't have the coordinates on it in the first place.

If one has the cartography skill. I'm surprised it wouldn't decode just by putting it in the locker.

Because having coords on the map makes way too much sense and the devs just cant allow that!
