Neither of those pets are anything "special", in my opinion. The starting HP's are too low on both to make them "exceptional", the STR on the 1st one is WAY low, and while the STR on the 2nd one is nice, the Wrestling is a bit lower. I think the 2nd one is "better" than the 1st one, but even so, if someone offered you 7-10M for the pair, I would take it. I think the values are in the range of: 1st one-, 1-2M +/-, 2nd one-3Mish. Just my opinion, but I have personally "popped" over 150 statues , so I think I have a pretty good grasp on what a NICE one looks like.

Both are very nice Tritons. Don't let others discourage you. The overcapped Wrestling/Resisting Spells are what makes a Triton a great Triton, not the Hits/Str. Tritons have more than enough points to get to 700 Str and add extra hits if you want (although you really don't need to, ~650 hits is more than enough on a pet). Any decent tamer will be able to build a great pet from either of those.

As for their current value, they probably won't be worth much until the Vendor goes away and people can't get them anymore, or you can find someone late to the content that doesn't want to try and farm their own. I definitely wouldn't sell them for 1-2m though.

The stable on Atlantic is still selling PP pets. I see few Tritons there. I have not seen any trying to sell them.

15 would easily make a good AI/Chiv Triton.

Perhaps if some people keep pushing the fact that those 10 whole points extra in wrestling makes these great pets some day it will be true. Bottom line in general with the lack of being mountable, their god awful design, crappy damage split, and the massive disperity between top end and low end ones these tritons are nothing more than a boosted vanity pet. As far as the above post both are nice pets and you might get 5-10 mil for them once they stop them from being created. If you are looking for a good hunting pet I'd suggest a lesser hiryu or the beetles.
