is the command "release" still working?

just wonder if the commend is still working , as i am using EC client, i have try many time, and it don't seems to working.

Works fine in CC. Been farming Cu’s. Tame. Rename ‘a’..... a release. Rinse and repeat.

From what I remember it only work if the name of the critter is a single name or letter like Gardo is saying.

How is the rename commend work? like rename a cu side to B or ?
as i am using the EC only, so i need to type it , pls help

You can right click on the pet in EC and then select "rename pet" and then say, "release (pet name)". Or you can just right click the pet and select "release pet" without renaming it.

thx for replying . But i am trying to setup a set of macro to do the rename action in EC. as rightclick to rename is tedious work with a laptop....
