[Discussion] Pre-Patch Pets?

I haven't touched my tamer in over a decade, got into a discussion this morning, so decided to check out some of my old pets. I'm just wondering what the hell I'm looking at and what it all means - had a kind person inform me that most - if not all of these are pre-patch, but I still don't know what I'm looking at or looking for So any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated, as well as an approximate value.

Dragon, White wyrm and Nightmare are all indeed prepatch pets.

Dragons no longer spawn as three slot. However you can not give them 2 rounds of training, only 1 due to their high intensity. So there really is not a lot of desire for them, other than them being three slot.

Wyrms with that high of strength no longer spawn as three slot, which makes it prepatch. The Wyrm is nice, I would be interested in purchasing it. They usually fetch a fair bit, 75 mill plus depending on stats.

Nightmares with 500+ strength no longer spawn as 2 slot. This is a lower end Nightmare though. I've seen them as low as 40 mill recently on stable merchants, higher end ones might fetch 75-100m.

Rune beetle, standard rune beetle.

Also, the WW is PP and decent stats, a valuable, rare pet nowdays, I've seen that cost up to over 100 M.

Yep.. the WW is the most valuable one. Also if you have banes and dreadmares, post here before you sell anything!

Unfortunately I do not. Wish I did, but besides those 4 pets, I had 2 Hiryu's, and a 4 slot Cu

Whitewyrm is for sale - my price may or may not be difficult, depending on whether you have a shard shield or not. But I need a character xfer token on Catskills to get my tamer to Atlantic. So that's what I'd like for the Wyrm @Khaelor

You should try out playing as a tamer. I'd rather you keep it and play.

I believe I'm going to, currently training Magery up to GM, still gotta figure out what template I'm going to play, but with Magery, Taming, Lore, Vet - I've got a pretty solid start. Keith mentioned that you were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the Tamer Forum, so I fully intend on checking it out.

"depending on stats" I just gave a general starting price for wyrms, not his in particular, as I did the same for nightmares. Wyrms prices vary by current demand. That one was easily a 100m+ one, which would have been my offer (or transfer token and gold).

Nah, you got what you wanted/needed. He got another WW.

You have to hit the right person at the right time to get the optimum sale price.

Settle in and make a Mage Tamer. Get the Taming and Lore to 120 Vet to >100 and find a Taming primer III.

Then you can perfect your build and start killing stuff.

It was fair. Any less and I would have passed. I wasn't super keen to transfer a tamer from my home shard. I figured that into my offer. He wanted an x-fer token and I brought one to him. It's all good.
