I did ask for this on the other forums. There are 2 meeting scenarios that could have been the way it was implemented.

1. One of our customers wants to play the game in costume but he can not hold a weapon. I can design a totem that goes with the costumes and it will be a popular item so lets give them an opportunity to acquire this cool item. *great Idea! Lets make it*

2. Some idiot wants to dress in costume while he fights stuff. OMG what a dweeb! I know, lets put it in the store as a one use item and watch the numbnut buy a bunch of them. A fool and his money will soon part.

It is permanent but it eats the costume and it can not turn into a different costume. So one use as in 1 permanent costume per token.

I'm seriously thinking about getting one!

Thankfully, I've been collecting pixie costumes... so I have extra. Shame it doesnt allow you to combine and remove... so you can do different things, depending on your mood.

Like... in some very safe hunting areas, where a risk of a dangerous thing popping up... I'll spring up and suprise someone for fun, as a monster. hehe Pixie fun!

They are very fun at spawns. My Dream Wrath and Gore Fiend have been quite fun (for me) at the Primevil Spawn.

I chase players all over the place before they figure it out.

So then you are stuck in that costume then permanently? What if you want to go back to your normal appearance? You lost both the costume and the totem? Or the totem remains to give you that look again? Sounds like a useless character deco half baked idea..

NO. You can click and unclick the totem and you change. It stays in your backpack. Changes color when on. so you can find it easier.

Permanent as in, you can not remove the the costume from the totem.

I'd like to buy something from the store... after wading through the BS at Origin store trying 100 times to log into my account to put the code in and finally getting through that nonsense I go to the in-game store and every time I put stuff in my cart the damn thing crashes and just closes ... fat lot of good it does to have an F'ing sale if you can't actually buy anything. So freaking disgusted with UO right now...

So you think it is the scenario where they are laughing at us at the end of the meeting.

Most times I think they are laughing at us... they seem to enjoy making things nearly impossible for the average player... makes you wonder sometimes who's running some of the RMT sites... and certainly makes you wonder if they ever really actually play the game... just as a normal casual player without bonuses for being a DEV... just a normal player. No uber gear... no uber stats... just a regular player... and then it makes you wonder just what their idea of "fun" is compared to the rest of us.

My idea of "fun" is not to be running 5 to 9 trade missions to spawn Krampus finally finishing him off for zero return... especially when I invested at least an hour or more on it.

How things could be improved: Place a costume trader. I'll trade a costume that I have for the one that I want, and then I will buy the store's omelet. @Kyronix

By single use they mean if you double click the Totem and target a Mongbat Costume It will consume the costume and the totem can now only be used to turn you into a Mongbat. It's a toggle, click it and you're a Mongbat, again your back to normal. As many times as you want to do it. You cannot remove the Mongbat costume once you put it in the totem and you cannot change the costume in it.

It should have been a totem with a context menu, we shouldn't have to buy x number for x number of costumes. We should be able to buy the totem, and load it up with costumes. There are better ways to bilk us out of money than this way.
