Rotation Issues

I've been away a while, and when I returned ( current patch ), I cannot turn in place any longer.

One used to be able to rotate without moving, which is required for facing doors to open them without having to double click them. Also for stealthing around and avoiding traps.

I cannot even face my customers anymore when I tend my bar... Why is this now broken after having worked for 18 years?

If you're in the EC, thats a feature...

can't walk to the edge of the bank and stand there, it wants to turn you. Something about the pathfinding around obstacles

Thanks... although, if I cannot rotate in place, I cannot play. It is THAT important. And yes, I only use Classic Client.

It should be noted that I can rotate in place fine if in an open area, but not if against any walls or objects. So, if I walk along a wall and reach a doorway, I cannot simply rotate to face the door and open it, I have to take a step back from the door, then approach it to rotate my body. Not all corridors are two tiles wide to do that.

Problem solved! Uriah was right. I found the problem in the settings. I unchecked "Enable Pathfinding" and everything works the way it should again.

That was not my island house, that belonged to Saint Dismas. I had the cool location in front of Despise for a time, until Czarina sold me her castle!
