Anyone notice a change in Trick or Treating today?

Something seems to have changed. I went 4 hours straight w/good luck and a 91 begging character and received no specials at all, just tricks. Anyone else's drop rate change like mine or did the gods simply frown on me today?

Not me, I have been T&Ting for 10 minutes and got 2 giant pumpkin deeds and a cider tray already. I will admit that's unusual and I go for long periods of time without anything.

The RNG has been broke now since back in Draconi's time so anything can happen and it IS named Random Number Generator which could mean you could go forever without getting anything. I know it allowed me to fail 4 times in a row last week on my smith making an item that was 96% make chance.

@Parnoc Do you need begging to get decent drops? Or its just purely random?

In previous years I always did Zento but after being teleported 34 times in less than 10 mins...
I changed to Luna... there I TOT until I get an item drop & then watch the clock.
I usually get an item every 10 mins there after...

Also I have insomnia, so sometimes if I cant go back to sleep, late at night I will go TOT & that's usually when I get the dragon jack O'lantern

I got 'lucky' in Skara Brae, Zento, Ter Mur, and Britain this year, but as my character has not GM'd begging yet I was limited in my gifts. However, despite a few days where hours would go by without a drop (even with a luck suit on and a touch on the UO statue) I felt pretty good in the end. I'm still putting time in when I don't feel like being in Khaldun. Really great halloween event. I even managed to get my bones twice!

I have always done the shops in luna, never anywhere else. I set up a macro for each room and just run around hitting the macro.

I do my T or T in Heartwood. It's a nice finite loop without much wandering by NPCs, and by the time you get to your start point again they have reset. I just keep one rune book set for the entrance for when the evil twin teleports, and I can get back quickly to the exact spot I left off. There's something like 50 (+/-) NPCs to hit in the circuit, though one near the entrance appears to be hiding in leaves and floating off the tree on some shards (the character USED to be on that first platform when ML launched).

I can't wait to hear from El when she checks her mailbox - I bombed it with about 20-30 special Trick or Treat items this afternoon....
