ahh where are the pictures of the Castles & Keeps that won?

thanks- they all look nice - but i was looking for something where i wouldn't have to keep the " moat spaces etc "
.. so unless you can just rip down the walls and the grass area's etc I can't see much reason to spend 44 mill or so on that ..

haha well the grass in mine is easy fixed with crafted stone tiles, and it doesn't have moats, the other walls are basically to hold the roof up , most are left for you to do yourself. This will be the case with most people tho. If only we could just customise. However all designs, accept maybe the last will give you more than double if not quadruple the useable floor space.

I just want a Keep that has better use of the interior space and is easy to get around, I don't want to have to use granite walls or pavers to make it look the way I want. No doors, no multiple stairs! Maybe next time round we will get a Keep that is attractive and practical, I will continue to hope.
That was what I built believe it was number 72 ..... didn't get many votes though...
I plan on it. Hopefully it'll do better next time.

Yes I did however they are on my good computer which is right now down for the count waiting on a new cooling system. But I know I had them posted in the thread about them I'll look and see..

The red ovals indicate the location of secret doors allowing access to different area's. On the Castle there are secret doors along the second floor hall that would allow someone to be able to put down stone pavers if they wanted to pave above the courtyard.. there is also a secret escape door built into that one. The Keep secret doors allow you to go out into all the grassy area's around the Keep to deco if you want.
They are basically the current keep and Castle with the inner bailey pushed back and Incorporated into the rear of the castle more like the large stone tower.... with better access as I left the murder holes out figured people could put them back in if they wanted using pavers or put doors there or whatever they wanted arches if they liked but they were basic designs with moderate amounts of walls and less doors. Yet the courtyard is large enough to put in probably the large pond... or at the very least the medium sized pond.

Thank you MalagAste, i actually like your designs.
NP I plan to try repeating them when/if they keep to their word of letting us have another go per publish. I'm hoping I can actually win next time. I just want the same castle and keep we have to be as functional as they can be... I don't want something different since the only stuff we have to work with if we add to it is what we've got. Trying to add the current stone to something like marble would look awful.
I designed them so if people wanted they would function just fine as is or they could add arches or doors as they saw fit. But simple useful designs without too many doors or stairs or wasted space. I'm glad you like them. I hope they can get the votes they need next time.

I think @MalagAste should start a campaign since that seems to be the accepted method of winning. 
That seems to be true but I lack the funds for a long campaign. I can start just by saying if you want a nice customizable Keep or Castle keep an eye open for my designs I will post when they go live next time letting folk know which ones they are... they will be as identical as possible to the ones I've pictured above. I know I'll be using them if they do, as I believe they are well worth spending the gold on. To have easy access nice flow and good size rooms.

Castle Elsa design is the best!! I replaced my current castle with this design and let me say WOW! The attention to detail is great. If you haven't checked it out do so because it cant be beat!
I would have to change my toons name from Allen to Ellen to use the Castle shaped like an E.
