Global Chat?

i see its there.... how does it work?
im looking at it, im hitting buttons, nothing seems to be doing anything.
anyone know how to use this?
is it actually working?
what does it do?

Find someone that will accept your friend request.

In CC you have the huge window open with the name of the person you want to talk to yellow and press ' then space and the chat area shows their name.

Apostrophe then space.

Open the huge window. Then open it more. Theres an add friend button.

It can tell you who is online. BUT, after a few log ons and offs you have to turn it on again. Mine is turned off in that pic. It was on yesterday. It should stay on until turned off.

I turned it on but it shows all but one friend is off. I just saw one walk by and talked to another. So, you have to check if it is on every time you log on.

You have to open that huge window to see the chat.

I use it for notes. I talk to my other toon. I put the name of the crazy mage I used so I know when a new one is there. Since I forget their names. The chat stays until you log off.

strange, i hit the add button and nothing.

You may have to turn it on. Hit your icon to turn it white.

Had the same problem and found a couple of things. First you both have to have it set to accept. It is found just above accept trades. On some of my alts it was off but some had it on. Next it seems you both have to have the global chat open. Click add target person keep fingers crossed. On person I just couldn't add but they could add me.

not sure what the problem was, i guess it just needed time.

Yes and it is for all the toons on that account. But the toon you friended is the name you see even if they are on a diff toon.

ya, i was actually just doing a shard transfer so i tested this myself, does work, haha!
