Rune Beetle Dilemma

Okay, I have this Rune Beetle ready to train, I believe. So here is what it says I can train but are these my only choices? This is my first pet being trained under the new system. Go easy on me.



Here are his skills. I am not sure what I want to use him for. I tamed him a while back because of his high poisoning. Here are his skills:





Any suggestions for training would be greatly appreciated. Also, how do I add power scrolls to him?

Copy it to the new Test center. Split the resists between Phy Fire and Energy. Don't add any more to cold.

Dex and stamina to 150

Mana regen to max

Stam regn to 5

HP regen to max

Rest in Str.

Then move to next level.

About these rune beetles: Do they retain Both poisoning and magery and can get RC and a special like AI? How do you make them retain both magery and poisoning? Or they lose one or the other? Their posoning is usually overcapped at 120 or something, that would make it an awesome lev 5 poisoning pet..

They start this way.

If you add a diff magic you lose the 2 magics.
If you add magery mastery you lose poison.

Nice..So this is one unique pet that comes with built in two magics plus rune corruption? That is awesome. Also can you add AI and an AOE to it as well? or just AI? And are both magics functional without "activating" them?

There are other pets with two magics : Skree (magery and mysticism), and also Dreadspiders (Magery and Necro) but I think you need to activate them..right? I wonder if these lose one or the other magic when you activate them also..Both these are non-tank creatures due to low final hps..a little on the squishy side..

The Skree comes with Magery and Mysticism and they are both active.

The DreadSpider however is F'd if you add the Necromage you lose poisoning... FYI much like the Runebeetle and adding magery mastery. Only unlike the Runebettle the Dreadspider doesn't have the points to waste on things and it's build is rather killed if you mess with it much. Should be a 2 slot pet really.

Follow the example screens in the beginning of this thread. Its a Cu but you are putting on basics, so it is the same. Just click stuff on the training menu. Cu Sidhe Builds

They re-did TC recently. The new pet testing area is SW of WBB. lead the pet through the gate that will make it 100% Have to push the blue button first.

Then you can choose abilities and stats.

There is a clicky to get scrolls you need to empty your back pack first.

For all:

A guy on LS uses a Rune beetle for the whole roof encounter. Pets you can not mount are great pets for Gargoyles.

Copying to TC : on your toon, there is a "HELP" button. Click that it will give you options. One of the options is copy character. Click that, then follow the menu. You need to be on foot to do that, stable the pet youre riding also. After you are done go to the TC-1, its the very last shard in the choices on reentering the game. Click on your tamer character. Then youre in. A gump will appear with boxes. Single click eachh box separately and proceed with what it asks. It is only like 5-10 seconds tops. All the stuff in your bag will be there with you, and all gear you are wearing. Also all your stable pets will be in the stable for you to exper. with. When done later you may want to delete the char from TC1 and re-copy in 24 hours. You can copy as many times as you want. This will not affect your production characters in any way. When you are in TC1 go to brit west bank, there is a square area there with 2 gates, one to bond unbonded pets, and one to insta "train" the pet. Also there is a pillar that gives you all the PS you may need, just make sure you have enough room in your backpack.
After you do it once its a snap. Usually takes 5 seconds, but can do it once every 24 hours. After you train pet there test in on GDragons, Sphynx, Balrons, etc etc..Test different builds. Hope this helps, GL
