With the amount of quality pets whitesmith puts out, I’m sure he’s aware of the time required for disco to wear off.

Glad the GM was able to correct the problem.

Luckily no
Wouldn't have made a difference, much difference anyways, cause healing and discord would not have gone down...
If they went down with release and tame, I would have started another need a hug thread, lol

Good. That means he is getting better at fixing them. A guy on LS had to transfer the pet to him and then get it back unbonded to fix that same issue.

Funny I've trained and sold many discord pets, yet lol, never used one myself.
When a pet discords a mob, does the mob sparkle like regular discord?
Is pet discord a temp thing with zzz appearing over the mob?
Well l feel like a noob...

I mean, you'd assume that it would discord a shadow ele at 119.6 discord, it didn't, I was there for about 2 hours, no sparkles.

Try other stuff. The shadow ele is like no other mob.

I did, tried all mobs around the shadows. No sparkles

Another indication was, after GM fixed it, it stopped gaining discord, was stuck at 119.6 got hours. Not the case usually.
Will also have to check if it was actually healing...

If not, Page the GM again and show him there.

I have seen the zzzzz’s as well with my discord pets. I still have no idea how or why they do that. I ve even posted a picture of it here, in a different post.

Really? I see a lot of my pets do it and they don't have barding... which is odd.

I watch my disco cu disco stuff and they always sparkle when it succeeds.

BTW, I found one of the causes for a pet discoing itself. If you accidentally target the pet with "all kill", and don't follow it up with an "all stop", when it gets into combat, it still considers itself a target and discos itself if it can. You then have to get it to a safe spot, invis it, and let the disco wear off while it's invisible (and make sure you use "all stop" so it won't do it again).

Update
After almost a week of discord training, it did not gain a single point.
Paged again, GM River fixed it for good I think, it was indeed broken and was not able to use the discord skill at all.
Should gain now...
