I thought I would share buying gametime again.

Bought two codes yesterday fron Origin store. About two hours apart. Used the same card I've been using there and on the Acct management pages for the last two years. Had a problem last time, with it being on the weekend and not processing till Monday.

Well, these were bought in the middle of the week, in the morning hours. 22 hours later, still processing...

And people wonder why 3rd party sites make a good living?

Not a mystery to me at all.

Seems to be very hit and miss with Origin, I've never had to wait I always get the codes right away. I bought a 6 month one a few days ago and got the code immediately.

I use PayPal (with my card linked via PayPal) and the codes show up instantly at the checkout.

I guess I am gonna have to make a PayPal acct. Hate to be forced to do it just to do business with Origin. don't have any issues with anyone else.

I've been just using the card through account management then deleting the information as soon as it goes through.

I always suggest getting the Origin cards at gamestop. Instantaneous and minimises the contact with EA.

You can get the $60 EA cards sent to you from Best Buy and use those to buy gametime, or get two $20 EA ecard codes at a time sent to you from Walmarts. I stopped giving EA my credit card info back during that last serious cc screwup session they had years back.

I just spent 20 minutes in game trying to buy sovereigns (Actually putting in the code for the sovereigns) till I remembered you have to apply them to your UO account. So I go there. Then they tossed in a I which I didn't know was a I or a 1 or a L or what . The wife is reading the number to me over and over on various web sites lol. If she files for a divorce I'm suing somebody. I tried to paste the number in but for some reason it didn't work :/

Try making sure you didn't have a space before or after when you paste...

By the time I actually got it to work I was so annoyed I don't remember what I did If I ever buy anything from them again I'll totally forget how the whole thing works by then

3rd party sites that work to buy gold.

Then use the gold to buy whatever ya want from another player in game, who has/had the patience to deal with the EA system. Less frustrating, and faster lol

I still find it annoying. I have been looking at it though. Plus I just made "Grand Inquisitor" here, so I got that going for me.

Seems they've been sending me $5 credit codes each time good for 30 days, but since I only buy cards every six months I've never used them.

I love PayPal. I will try and use it shopping online whenever I can. I mean why would I want to be giving all these different websites my card details when I can just give it to one (PayPal) and then use this to pay for goods and services on various different websites? I think it is way more secure this way.
