This is almost craftable if it weren't for the overcapped EP which most sampires don't use anyway and the ssi 10. I'd just stick to starting an auction rather than insulting the 4 or 5 people that want an auction. Just saying....

I understand, however everyone knows we always run clean auctions, and if we are just being honest, those bids are insulting when jewels not as good were going for 500m earlier this month.
If the worth is only 50m would rather keep it.

Insulting? He has an item he'd like to sell. He's not insulting anything lol

In my opinion, it's ALWAYS best to put a reserve on an item for sale. It eliminates any misunderstanding. When a person asks for "offers" they are more times than not going to get, "low ball offers". I know when I am selling items, I have a pretty fair idea of the value. I am upfront with my possible buyers by sharing it with them, in the form of a reserve. If someone doesn't like my reserve then they move on to something else. No harm/no foul/no "insulting'/no games.

Bottom line, if you had put a reserve on it, you would be much closer to selling it. :) Just my opinion of course.

personally id rather have offers than a dead thread with people scared off by reserve. you can at least see if theres interest, even if the offers arent what you were hoping for. if someone really wants it, and what i think its worth is accurate, ill probably get an offer for that amount, or come to an agreement in icq. thats why it can be good to not have a reserve. especially if theres no "common" price for the type of item your selling. you can also sometime lose out on a reserve, if someone would have offered much more, rather than just seeing the reserve and "bidding" the miniumum instead.

just saying, theres many ways to sell an item. all have uses. an auction with a reserve is just 1 of them.

Valid points, we just have a difference of opinion.

What about those cases where there is a reserve and a potential buyer offers less to "low ball" and starts trolling the seller since he doesn't want to lower his price... i'm sure you've seen cases like that before also?

As for OP, personally I don't see more than 250m for this piece and even there most wouldn't have offered more than 150m. The market for legendaries hasn't been the same since the last 2 years, but you never know and i'll wish you luck on your sale :)
