Necromancy and conduit

Does anyone know if a pet with only necromancy will cast conduit? Or does it need necromage?

I know the shadow wyrm to my displeasure does not cast conduit. (It would be more useful if it did). But the necromage Nightmare does. Honestly cannot remember the necromage hellhounds I did casted it. Guess I have something to check when I get home.
