I'm curious as to the logic or fictional explanation of why lions and saber toothed tigers that show healing in their lore/knowledge pages and have healing skill points lose healing once tamed. Does taming them cause memory loss? A loss of manual dexterity to manipulate a bandage? Why do they lose it?
Scenario:
You subjugate a lion or saber toothed tiger. It is at 8% health. You hear it bandage itself multiple times. You check the lore/knowledge page; it shows healing as one of the animal's abilities. You check the skill list. Healing has skill points in it. You tame the creature. Healing is gone from lore/knowledge (meaning, it will not gain additional skill points through skill-up training). To add insult, when you release and kill the creature, it drops a bandage pack.
Clearly it had healing. Where did healing go? Why does it leave after taming?
This does not happen on all of them - just most. (I recall reading somewhere that 1 in 6 will have healing). I'm not complaining about the fact that healing is a 1 in 6 chance - just that the execution of which ones have healing is illogical.
I get that not all lions and STTs have healing. But a more reasonable way to execute this, in my opinion, would be to either show healing on the l/k page (and keep it if and when it appears), or not. If the creature rolls the RNG and will have healing, subjugation allows healing to appear and it stays. If it will not have healing, subjugation makes no difference and healing never appears. Why have subjugation add healing, only to remove it upon taming?
If there's a logical justification or some storyline that makes sense for the sudden memory loss, fine, but I'd love to hear it. Otherwise it's just a piece of odd behavior that breaks the fourth wall and makes me think every time that it makes no sense that the animal had healing a second ago, and now it doesn't.
Is it just me?!
