To translate from Goblin....
The current event has 4 different base colors, and 5 different bone forms.
The colors are default white (off-white for the new styles), orange/dark gold, red, and an olive-ish green. Red appears to be the most rare, but as the RNG is as prone to streaks as it has always been, I got 2 red skeletons (of friends - still have none for myself) from consecutive kills in 1 graveyard. They probably spawned simultaneously.
The bone types are as follows:
3 "old-style" skeletons that have been used for bone containers for years. The easiest way to describe them are "stretched out", "pile with skull to North", and "pile with skull to West". See the pic below. In the right side "body", the gold skeletons are "pile with skull to north", and the one in the south corner is the "pile with skull to west". The "stretched out" one is (obviously) the one at the roughly 4-5 o'clock position in the container.
There are 2 "new-style" skeletons, new for 2017.
One, which can drop for all three races, are the ones in the left container (which is also the container in the 10 o'clock position in the right container). Note that the left container has the base color, gold and green variants.
The other is gargoyle-specific, and is a variation of the other, but with wing bones (looks sort of like the oddball winged skeleton from the $1 plastic skeletons pack you can buy each year at Dollar General stores when halloween stuff is put on the shelves - I'd look for that pic but someone will probably post a picture of the actual in-game bones before I could find it). I don't have any gargoyles, and have only looted one of them personally (that I gave to the friend whose name they bore).
Note: In previous years' halloweens, the three old-style bones spawned in Blue, Pink, and maybe other colors. But, I only have blue and pink ones that I can confirm.

for my lack of grammar skills in another post, even though, since you posted to correct me & in the past, you have not been perfect with your grammar, nor spelling.
I recently thought of YOU as amazing for your research & posts Years ago, that I have used to help my chars to train. (You certainly weren't perfect in you grammar, nor spelling)

have you tried to power your Poo off and on again to see if that corrects the problem?

i went and took a couple screen shots of the individual skels and the colors as best i could from what i have and what i could steal (thanks @Basara and @Amber Witch )

don't have the green or red gargoyle bones (put put both facings of the new bones, fyi these are turnable)
