It is located on Dagger/Ice Island just South of Honesty. Nice place near mining, fishing and boating.

I am gonna let this run a couple of weeks. Midnight Eastern time November 10 will be the end of the auction. There likely will be some sort of last minute/sec bid mechanism... or not. That can be discussed.

I am only interested in Siege gold. All bids will be public and in this thread.

Anyone want to help me fund a "let's buy a castle for Garth"? Imo he is a great guy, a little ornery at times, but is a siege vet and part of the Siege community. I have not really be on in a year but I'd be willing to throw in my last 10 mil toward the castle. Anyone else interested in helping out? As long as this whole thing would be ok with Kelmo.

Yay! Thanks Babydoll. He has put in the time here, whats Siege without Garth. Why not help make the dream of owning a castle possibe. Every little bit would help. Let's see how much we gold we can raise and offer it up to Kelmo. There is always talk about community, let's do something nice. Something nice for someone who I would hope a lot of people would think he is a staple citizen of Siege. Whatta say!?!?

How long has he played here? What are his character names? I've only seen him at the last two castle IDOCs.

I know him as Garth Gray. He has another but the name escapes me atm. I do know this, I have played siege more on than off for 7+ years and I know he has been on siege longer than I.

You've been able to keep a low profile. I've been on Siege since late 2003, with a break between 2011-2016, and up until the other week I had never seen ya. Now I have seen you post all over the UO Hall forum, but never actually in game. I thought you were an Atlantic player that dabbled on Siege.

Good luck on the Castle.

You dont remember me fighting along side of you in the recent story arc on Valar, or giving you a free Protector of the Battlemage, or that I'm in your alliance ? Nice, and i've been here since 2008, almost...every day.


So I made this reply, and then went to make a cup of coffee, the whole time thinking to myself, damn, how dare he not remember me or know who I am. And then I realized, if you don't know me, that's not your fault, that's my fault. I don't talk much in alliance chat, I haven't logged into discord since the last one became inactive, i don't engage in alliance pvp, mainly because I still pretty much suck at it and I'm too lazy to get a better pc...all my fault..no one elses.

See this. I always did my bids this way. I've always viewed people bidding by PM's to be shady or trying to rip someone off.

The castle is gonna sell. Top bid is 45 million. Any bid within the last hour will extend the bidding by one hour. Only bids that add 1 million will be counted. Only bids posted here are accepted. Once a bid stands for an hour after the deadline, it will be considered final.
