Theres not many choices for them. You get one ability other than Magery if you choose the Mastery.

Question came up recently. Best way to train a nightmare?
My mares are all old , 6+ years old so I had a little more room to train them.
One is a mage mastery. The other is a single Target tank.
Both work very well but they started out as very very very strong 2 slot mares
thank you Relic for response, my mare is also one of older ones, prob 10 years at lease, forgot i had in the stable. Started as 2-slot but then something happened, went through 1st round of training and didnt distribute all points yet, was waiting for feedback from here and it jumped to 4-slot. so, i guess at this point wasted animal probably, unless there is a way to fix it
