What a great event to wake up too!! Best Easter event I've participated in for years.
First time I have been able to get in on event in several years. I got to participate in killing three Elder Bunnies last night Got one very good drop from the first one, several very nice Majors and enjoyed the small group efforts and learned fairly quickly that my Rune Beetle/Mare Combo was not best choice for super bunnies. I much prefer things like this that everyone has a chance to participate in and have a reasonable chance to walk away with some worthwhile loot and have fun. I just usually can't make it to the normal type EM Events. probably why I liked content like the invasions and TOT style that lasted for days, weeks or even months. It never fails with the events with a set date and time..... When the date and time arrives.... There is some crisis that trumps my game time. LOL can't count the number of times just doing normal game content with friends that I have had to bail in the middle of what we are doing saying "Gotta go my cattle are walking down the road" Anyway Thanks EM Kincaid for a couple of very entertaining hours last night!
The group of folks I ended up going after them with had 3 GDS, a Mage, a mage/weaver...... Very Long battles LOL.
Tyrath, that mage in our group was a crafter, which I think made it even more fun. No eval and prolly no med, haha, but I do hope she got at least some loot. I think I am going to try to find her a solid mage weapon to pair with inexpensive jewels for future events. I highly value persistence in the face of insurmountable odds!
And I do want to add my vote on the day-long events. Not only does it give more folks time to attend, but Vice rarely has the attention span for an entire day
I think some might complain (when they find out about it) that it was unannounced. But... it was Easter Sunday. We never know what is going to happen in game on holidays from the powers that be.

LOL my Mystic I had there was only marginally effective since Mongbat had like 70 Mage, 115 myst, 120 imbue LJ, Carp and tinker on. The RCs were useful but she was better just supporting the pets with greater heals. LOL even my tamer was not well set up for the first two and I couldn't even Rez poor PoopStain when he died because I didn't even have Vet on and no mage to even cast heals. So it was you and my Mongbat dropping the heals that kept him alive until the first two were done and ran back home and dumped Cart and LP for Vet and mage. I was pretty much home the entire day and I killed some bunnys in the early afternoon and there were still some around when I went to sleep that some friends were killin it

I agree, it was a good kind of event. Some unexpected spawn, that is not aggressive before the players choose to attack it are a good thing. Maybe sometime, if one is attacked, the others will agree too, to help the attacked mob.
Special Malas could need a little spice, but Britainnia had lost a lot of spawn over the years thanks to crying gatherers/crafters, who could not defend them self vs the mobs. At least on Siege, we have our Dark Wisps.
In old days, we had Brigands and Gypsies in Safe Haven and the forest at East Brit had too, together with Orc spawns.

Loved heading to brit mining cave and a brigand camp spawning in the mine. A epic battle for a miner with 50 macing and 50 tactics
is that the beach in islhenar where you could get by clicking the dragon statue at spirituality moongate?

The statue to click is near the Compassion Moongate, and our EM has left a pretty trail of crumbs leading to it hehe.
When I 2-click the statue, it ports me to the middle of the beach. There is moongate there that was in a different location yesterday. I never went to this beach on Siege before, so I had thought the moongate was a Siege thing. But now I wonder if it is an EM gate. Anyway, it takes you back to Ilsh Comp Moongate. This was very handy since the constant death meant never enough mana to rez folks - and what little mana I had could be spent on keeping the dragon alive. There were more Priests of Mondain, but um... the bunnies ate them. Ew.
Last time I checked, there were still several red bunnies (Crimson Dragons), couple of which are paragons.
Word of advice, here! The paragons are PARAGONS, so if you move they will switch targets. Teleport/Shadow Jump works much better. It is better for your group, in my opinion, to stand still and take a death robe rather than run away, forcing your tamer to chase their dragon and risk becoming a target themselves. I focused on having invis precast with target waiting to hit anyone in party that got any sort of attention from the bunny. It likes to curse you first, so if you pay attention you often get warning before it one-shots them.

We don't get Crimson Dragons very often, at least not in the past. This is the time to break out that luck suit you've had in a box for the past 2 years. If you get raided... well, time to build a new suit to put in the box. But if you don't get raided, it's well worth it imo.

Perhaps not announcing on Stratics or General Chat where you're working bunnies will limit the number of raids?
Did someone take care of that little nasty red Bunny, that love hanging out of Safe Haven Crossroad near the Hub?
There are yellow healers in the Guard fort. That Bunny is breaking the rules of Safe Haven and I need help to get it killed

The stalker Bunny of New Haven has been disposed of - and I got a 29/30 vermin slayer blacksmithy talisman for my effort!
As for announcing where I hunt... Well, as far as I am concerned, NOOB belongs to Siege, and is a shard effort. The guild is not full of skilled hunters. So I am in the habit of rolling the dice. I cannot solo any bunny (or much of anything else for that matter), so I broadcast my location to General Chat. Sometimes I get help, sometimes I get raided.
