Quick question about slayer instruments

I know that for weapons there is a difference between single slayers and super slayers (3x vs double damage).

Is this also true in some fashon for bards and slayer instruments? Or doesn't it matter wether I use a scorpion or a arachnid slayer on Miasma, for example?

It does not change the % success chance of the bard skill or how much of a reduction you get when you discord something.

However, if you are running the disco mastery to do damage, then I do believe the 2X and 3X are factored in.

For disco masteries, super and single slayer all do 2x damage.

I was researching this yesterday when this thread first got posted, and found a post that suggested Pinco's has an auto-select button that chooses the right slayer. I haven' t been able to get it to work. Is it also supposed to work with bard instruments?
