More UO silliness ...

Ethereal mounts. They are not like other mounts in that you need not feed them, you need not check happiness level, do not need to resurrect them.

Yet ... they occupy one follower slot. How come? If I die my mount becomes a 1 stone statuette in the backpack. I need not command it to follow my ghost.

I know it's always been that way but it doesn't mean it's necessarily right. Now that I've lobbed that grenade, have at it. Discuss.

Might be wrong but this one seems straight forward. Wouldn't it be a pretty big advantage if you can have a GD and be mounted? I've personally been tempted to "race change" my tamer to Gargoyle to get the equivalent of being mounted.
