when paging a GM

when paging a GM in EC client how to you know if your in que for one? i paged one but nothing poped up on my screen to let me know that im waiting for one

I paged a gm a week or so ago and eventually I noticed a little glowy crystal thing in the top left corner, it said it was a message but when I clicked it just vanished. I have no idea what it said now

its ok within 5 minutes of paging GM River showed up and helped me with my problem, he was really nice helpful.
