What items start to give relic frags? Greater Magic Items, Major Magic Items, Lesser Artifiacts?

What Type of Items Give Relic Frags when Unraveled?

It is more about property weight than it is about names. I'm not sure the exact cutoff, but the higher the weight, the more likely you are to get a relic (or 2).

The EC + Pinco's UI also gives you a good idea of what an item will unravel into by coloring the name. Blue for relics, green for enchanted essence, gray for everything else.

I grab all "artifact" items from loot. Most of them seem to unravel to relic fragments.

Psst, you could have easily reached out to your Siege guild for the answers. There are some very talented and knowledgeable Imbuers in that guild.
This morning we had a LESSER magic item that clearly showed to have enough weight for a RF. And it became a RF. So those names really don't mean a thing we feel. We don't pay attention to them mostly, although artifact always looks special somehow.
