Damage to Jewelry and Armor

I have a legendary ring and gorget, I've used POF to bring the durability to 255. When I cast Tribulation 100 times on myself, the durability left is 0, and both the ring and gorget are broken. The remaining armor has no damage.

If I swap out the ring and gorget for another, I can cast Tribulation 100 times on myself and there is no damage to either, nor to my remaining armor. What gives?

Those are likely items with the antique tag.
They die pretty quickly and are terrible for training skills.

Hmm... you're right, they both have the "antique" tag. None of the other items, do, though some have "brittle" and are unaffected.

Brittle is the equivalent of an item being imbued, so it won't be damaged so fast.
Antique items take durability damage whenever you are doing any action that could resemble combat, even if you aren't engaged in combat. It makes them decent, fast to die pieces that can be easily replaced for every day combat, but terrible for training.

Sorry, no POF. I made an assumption on POF since the durability was 255 which is what I usually POF legendary jewelry to.

I just realized all my best jewelry is antique. :/

They will last you a good while for combat. And they aren't too hard to replace.
But don't use them for training. Period.
