A bright blue ore in Ultima lore would caddellite. Its a meteorite ore that would actually fit the Kotl backstory from the "Great Work" books rather well... @Kyronix

Not to mention you then can't use a Slayer Spellbook and that would be good in what setting???

"Less useful"? That's a strange belief. It's Identical in most regards to the Crystalline Ring, except that the +20 skill can be something other than Magery. I personally loved the additional +10 med, and the ability to have the +20 in Mysticism (and I rearranged my Mage/Mystic's skills to where I now have have 60 Med to go with my 120 Focus)
And, I'd like a key to that magical alternate universe where you get FC2 or more dropping on loot bracelets. I've not seen better than FC1 yet, even though I've seen everything else overcapped by at least 33% ever since the loot changes.
Of course, since I don't PvP, I've not had any trouble with FC since I'm using an 11-year-old Orny and a 9-10 year old Scrappers, and often am running around with 1 or 0 FC because I have protection and/or stone form cast. The +10 Resist Spells on the ring only comes into play when I have Fishing stoned off and Resist stoned on, with protection cast. I would have rather had +20 Med, but it's not that big a deal.

The only +2 FC alternatives (to the Orny) is the Venom bracelet that drops from medusa, it can be imbued to +3 FCR.
It comes stock with +2 FC, so effectively a 2/3 casting bracelet. Other mods on it must be manipulated for this to be allowed.
The other is a prepatch Djinni's Ring replica. If your lucky enough to find one, they may be imbue with +3 FCR. These
also come stock with +2 FC. Both of these need to have the other mods on them manipulated for imbue weights to fit +3 FCR.
Using these alternatives for magery, mysticism, or other casting templates seems pointless considering what one must give up
compared to current property weights on jewls. However, when running a very specific template where other mod requirements
may be obtained elsewhere... these jewls are amazingly effective and can not be replaced anywhere.
