I thought Siege was "the hard shard"?

Seem to be some right cry babies on Siege. Wheres the "prodo players are soft and siege is the hard shard" approach gone? Or was it only in reference to skill gain?

So far, every time i've logged in all i've been met with is hostility and people telling me im a cheater before they've even seen me in game? Is this how this shard works? You are all so welcoming. /sarcasm.

I don't see how accusations of people cheating (even if incorrect) make it not the "hard" shard. People wanting a "hard" shard experience would be even more against cheating than regular sharders. Not saying you are cheating, but yeah, some are, so people are suspicious.

As for being welcoming, it may be because of who you choose to hang out with, assuming you hang out with the rest of the new pvpers, who have been swaggering around claiming they own the place, posting mocking screen shots, etc. If not, my apologies.

Nah Siege is easy. That's why I came back. It is like UO retirement. At least for a thief. I find the skill gain is actually easier, here. Guaranteed gain multiple times every hour? Niiiice. Plus, the people are cool and there is the potential for RP-PvP (though not so much with the PvP part, these days). The single character slot and the inability to buy some simple resources from NPCs, coupled with the inactivity of the shard, makes it a bit tough.

I've had the exact opposite experience. The people I've meet in game have been friendly.

Most people with the exception of a few Hi-5 in general chat are respectful. Now I haven't been disrespected by them either. The way two members have carried on like children would cause me to never associate with them.

Personally, I have nothing against you. The people you choose to run with says alot about a person.

Siege is where PvPers come to feel good about themselves. Super EZ kills here. You get ganked on prodo and feeling down? Log onto siege, they basically fall over and hand you the EM events on a platter.

If I have been, it lasts about 10 seconds. Kills come so ez on siege that i'm flying high in no time.

Siege hasn't been hard or challenging in a very very long time. You missed the fun by nearly 12 or 13 years.

Most of us who enjoyed the risk of Siege have moved on to servers "elsewhere".
