Advice on a Mage build.

Hello Siegers!
I need some advice on a Mage build.
I am wanting to build a Necro/mage.
I'm running into an issue with skill points.
So, basically, I can run with no wrestle and try to use a Mage wep or I can run with no resist and use trap boxes.
What advice do my fellow siege players have on this.
I'm new to siege and trying to build a Mage that's able to pvp and pvm.

I usually use a - 0 mage weapon - I would never pvp without resist (but I don't pvp very much so others may know more!)

That's what I was thinking, I need to get a hold of a Balakais staff and use my siege bless in it.

I have never even seen one on Siege - so not common - maybe better going for cursed staff of magi, swords of prosperity or staff of pyros.

I'd assume that a cursed item cannot be siege blessed?

most mages here run and bless a one handed -15 mage weapon with say 15-21 dci.
so without the mage weap bo would run something like this
105 necro and mage
120 resist eval ss
100 anatomy
50 med
this is a harder template to run here which is why most run a myst mage. the focus acts as your med and your damage modifier for myst.
You could always try to run it without resist, problem with that is a smart mage will make you suffer, lucky for you not many of those around these parts.

You forgot he needs hide/stealth on that template.
