just noticed this myself after i suggested to a person to bump their thread once a day, but he did not want to be banned.

i checked and we are in fact back under the 48 hour rule.

when was this announced?

is this being enforced?



this policy favors a select few using one style of selling, and its interesting that the people who are using that style are stratics staff.

The rule is 24 hours, and has been enforced as such. I will make sure the page gets updated within the next few days. There is no conspiracy here, simply a miscommunication about updating the page.

so people lost out possibly billions of gold on auctions for following the posted rules (as i said this is how i realized the change because someone told me they didnt want to get banned for over-bumping. their auction was buried and largely everying sold way low)

sorry but this is just sloppy. its not hard to update something and should have been done immediately.


with whats gone on over the last few months the "conspiracy theory" comment was uncalled for.

word of advice: it will take years for some players to gain that lost trust back (if at all), and stuff like this sure isnt the way to do it.

i find it insulting that you attempt to foil hat me when just in the last month, changes have been made that i was promised 6 months ago would never happen.

to be perfectly clear, the majority of my concerns have all come to light. so seeing this "stealth change" of course i will jump to the conclusions that have proven true in the past.

I'm not even a big seller, and I would bump for friends too with a 48 hour bump rule. That's kind of corny. If you have a week long auction, you can only pop it up 3 times? Pretty lame.

This matter was publicly discussed here last month, Announcement - Trade Forum Rules Update Draft--Please Read . Announcements of these changes were made in that thread. We have just been a little backlogged on tasks, and haven't been able to update the changes on the official rule avenues. This will be resolved and the official rules will be updated soon. For now I will sticky the other thread for anyone who didn't participate in that original discussion.
