Price check on this gem. Turned on one of my old accounts and found it. Last one I sold **15dci** (Over 4 years ago) went for 1.5 billion. Any price check on them now?

[Price Check] SC FC 1 Wep With 17 DCI

Price check on this gem. Turned on one of my old accounts and found it. Last one I sold **15dci** (Over 4 years ago) went for 1.5 billion. Any price check on them now?
Definitely one of a kind!
Only thing I'd say that brings down its value is Balakai's Shaman Staff.
For like 1/50th the price you can get the same weight in other key mods. (~5-15 mil right now)
Compared to this item, it's essentially the same except trading:
17 DCI(124 weight) for 25 EP(100 weight) & FC1(140 weight)/-20 MW(100 weight) for -0 MW(300 weight)
Balakai's is giving you a bonus +36 mod weight, plus I'd say Disarm > Bladeweave/DM of the Machete. (if you use specials)
I dont have an exact price estimate, but I'd say after 4 years and the addition of Balakai's the value may be less than expected even though that mod combination is extinct.
To a collector though, might fetch a pretty penny even if they dont actually use it for fighting.
That, or you might get a nice premium for someone looking to replace a Hephaestus(I imagine thats it's best fit with the +1) in favor of bushido/parry.
I hope you find a buyer! Might be worth it to auction it just to see what happens. Such a unique piece you never know!!

Your analysis in all honors. But I think the value making part here is SC + FC1

Definitely the value is in SC +1 FCing, without a doubt.
But +10 Skill on top of -0 MW, and an almost even trade for DCI to EP makes the Balakai staff a 5mil alternative.
If you use the Machete, you'll need +25 EP, +30 skills to make up for what you lose without the Balakai.
If you use the Balakai, you'll only need 15 DCI, and 1 FCing.
I'm just saying there is less people struggling to make a 1-handed suit, due to the addition of the Balakai Staff.
So he may not command as big of an audience to buy it at 1.5b. Granted, anything is possible.
I'd agree with Soulweaver and say 500m - 1b is a fair price.
Balakai's staff is an awesome piece to build a suit around, honestly I am thinking of tweaking one of mine for it.
However Bombastic's piece is definitely valuable and usable. There are occasions where you might have 0/3 legendary jewelry with +magery that you are dying to use but don't want to sacrifice other areas to make up the FC1 (FC1 mempo, town bonus (esp if you are red), etc). Or if you are building a 4/6 spellweaving template its a great fit. What makes his more unique is the 17 dci, most FC1 SC mage weapons have 15 or less. I do prefer the bokuotos that were done up as FC1 SC MW though, the hpr2 is a nice slot. Still with legendaries that is less critical.
Good luck on the sale I think the price checks given are pretty spot on.
