The classic Naturalist Quest

I am trying to redo the Naturalist quest for rare color seeds.
I am getting "You seem a little preoccupied with another task right now." message.
but I don't have anything in my quest log... any idea?

Are you checking the right quest log?

Left click your character, the old stuff should be in there

Or if you have 10 quests, that is the limit and you can't have more, you will have to quit one or more of those quests to be able to accept this quest.

To elaborate on @Promathia

The naturalist seed quest use the original quest system, which only allow you do one quest at a time, you can cancel your current quest on the context menu of your character. Same quest system is used for the primer quest in Eodon as well, so that might be the one blocking it.
