Newsletter (which I'm VERY happy to get) rehashed with the addition of the Valentines comment.Either I really missed something, or this is just the newsletter rehashed?
I am actually wondering if we will get fake moustaches and plumber suits to deal with it, given that moustachioed Italian plumbers that can jump and are named after a warehouse landlord have been specialists in dealing with large monkeys since 1981.No one wants to talk about the two ton gorilla?
Wasn't this put in place to stop script miners? Will it still dig up blackrock using this method?
How about making blackrock bigger and stackable for those of us that are visually handicapped?
Scripters just script a code to drop the crap at their feet.... the rest of us who actually Mine manually have to stop all the time and try and fish the crap out of our packs, painstakingly picking up each piece and moving it to the trash for the measly 1 turn in point.Wasn't this put in place to stop script miners?
I always carry a bag in my backpack and then I've set up an Organizer Agent in UOA to drop the small pieces of blackrock in the bag. When you're done mining, you just run the agent and drop the bag, trash it for points or make a nice bowl of blackrock stew.Scripters just script a code to drop the crap at their feet.... the rest of us who actually Mine manually have to stop all the time and try and fish the crap out of our packs, painstakingly picking up each piece and moving it to the trash for the measly 1 turn in point.
More importantly, do we also get gems?@Kyronix

I'm pretty sure it was just a copy/paste from the Meet & Greet with a few tidbits of upcoming content. more importantly It replaced the "2015" banner on UO.com with something a little more fresh from 2016 !Did I miss something? All I saw was a paragraph that said something about "quest content" while giving no details.
Problem is, that organizer agent in UOA *is* a third party script, precisely as MalagAste described. It just happens to be an approved one. Running UO on linux, I own a couple of old UOA licenses, but it won't run on Linux without crashing, so I can't use that. ...And since I was taking a break from UO at the time, I don't have that recipe on any characters, either.I always carry a bag in my backpack and then I've set up an Organizer Agent in UOA to drop the small pieces of blackrock in the bag. When you're done mining, you just run the agent and drop the bag, trash it for points or make a nice bowl of blackrock stew.![]()
Which gorilla is this? Must be an issue that doesn't effect me much.No one wants to talk about the two ton gorilla?
You can still get the blackrock stew recipe. it is taught to the character when the quest is complete, you don't actually get a recipe scroll.I don't have that recipe on any characters, either.![]()

Ahhhh. Ummmm. Very nice I guess?![]()
This one!
You will need to bring your own ladders. The mallet is being replaced with a war hammer. Pauline left to be Lord British's mistress years ago.I am actually wondering if we will get fake moustaches and plumber suits to deal with it, given that moustachioed Italian plumbers that can jump and are named after a warehouse landlord have been specialists in dealing with large monkeys since 1981.
And where the heck are the stairs, the mallet and Pauline?
I just auctioned off a blackrock stew recipe scroll at the fest, so I'm pretty sure you do get a scroll. Thing is, I don't see any way to even start the quest if you don't already have some loyalty either way from back when that bit was active. You can still get the blackrock stew recipe. it is taught to the character when the quest is complete, you don't actually get a recipe scroll.
Actually, they are 10 points each? But not here to be nitpicking, we just want to add we actually kinda like the small pieces of blackrock. Those 5-15 that drop in the bagpack while mining for an hour we throw in a bag, then after several runs we move the bag to our cleanup-point collector and we get extra points just for our mining efforts. We see it as an extra.the rest of us who actually Mine manually have to stop all the time and try and fish the crap out of our packs, painstakingly picking up each piece and moving it to the trash for the measly 1 turn in point.
The Wolfgang prophecy in Doom was just a foreshadowing of the Time of Legends prequel events. Owain foretold that we would need to find the treasure of a long dead king, i.e. the Lesser Wolfgang Rubies. We already did that...Personally, I'd like to know what's going on with the Wolfgang temple and Doom. It was supposed to be part of the ToL leadup, but now that part of Doom is blocked off, so we can't even get down to that temple. That whole storyline feels kind of forgotten.
Hmm, does that mean that the blackrock stew recipes I have are now rare? You can still get the blackrock stew recipe. it is taught to the character when the quest is complete, you don't actually get a recipe scroll.
If the actual recipe scroll no longer spawns in game, then yes it would be considered a rare.Hmm, does that mean that the blackrock stew recipes I have are now rare?
are you sure of this? The last time I did it, less than a year ago, I still got the recipe which I passed to my new chef. You can still get the blackrock stew recipe. it is taught to the character when the quest is complete, you don't actually get a recipe scroll.
I know you can still get the recipe, I'm just not sure if you get the recipe scroll though.are you sure of this? The last time I did it, less than a year ago, I still got the recipe which I passed to my new chef.
Or just get rid of the small pieces of blackrock lol. I don't create exodus stuff so having to revive every time piece is tedious Iol. #MinerLife@Kyronix

Ooh wow, never tried using the agents in uoa so will have to look into that. ThanksI always carry a bag in my backpack and then I've set up an Organizer Agent in UOA to drop the small pieces of blackrock in the bag. Seems this way, which is a little disappointing to me.![]()
maybe a new boss!
@Kyronix I second this! Especially regarding the Castle of the White Dragon in Ilshenar!@Kyronix, for all the digging everyone was doing into the Wolfgang storyline, I really hope there was more to it that just that one-off use... I'd love to see that temple accessible again. I'd also love to see that area where the Ilsh crystal was obtained be made a permanent location. Ilsh really could use some new content, and it's always kind of ncie to be able to revisit old places like that.
We can adjust the size and hue of the blackrock pieces to make them easier to see and find in your backpack.@Kyronix

We are pretty focused on fleshing out more of the Valley of Eodon at this time, but you never know when we'll loop back to familiar areas to tie everything together!@Kyronix, for all the digging everyone was doing into the Wolfgang storyline, I really hope there was more to it that just that one-off use... A new gorilla boss? That would be cool. Rumors of a massive gorilla out in the dense jungle fits with the whole "Legends" theme of Time of Legends.![]()
